Union education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced the date sheet for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII board exams. The exams will be conducted from May 4 to June 10 in offline mode.
Practical exams for applicable subjects will begin March 1, the Education Ministry said. A third of each paper (33 percent) will contain internal choice questions, and the syllabus of each subject has been reduced to 30 percent to ease the burden on students who have had classroom time cut drastically due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.
The Results will be announced by July 15.
All exams will be held in the offline-written mode, and with strict COVID-19 safety protocols in place. These include wearing face masks at all times and the use of hand sanitisers.
