Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Delhi government will provide free education to children whose parents died as a result of Covid-19.
He also promised that his government would look after senior citizens who had lost earning members due to the pandemic. Previously, the Madhya Pradesh government announced financial assistance and a free education initiative for children orphaned as a result of the pandemic.
Many children have lost both their parents due to Corona. I want to assure them that I am here to help them,” said Kejriwal in video on Twitter.
He urged them not to consider an orphan. “The government will take care of their studies and upbringing."
