Meet All India JEE Topper Tanishka Kabra

Tanishka Kabra secured AIR 16 and topped in the all-India female category. Kabra scored 277 marks out of 360 marks. She is the topper from IIT Delhi Zone. Kabra aspires to pursue undergraduate (UG) programme in Computer Science from IIT. JEE Advanced Result 2022 Live

"I believe in small wins, I feel small milestones keep me motivated and help me stay the course in the long run. But a lot of students don’t have short-term goals. They focus only on JEE Main and Advanced. I think it is not advisable.”said Kabra


While pursuing board exams at school, she kept clearing the Indian Olympiad Qualifiers one after another in Mathematics, Astronomy, and Physics. She was also selected to represent India for the International Olympiad for Chemistry. Ms Kabra has done his preparations for JEE examinations from Aakash BYJU’S.


“Listen to what other people say, but choose the preparation strategy that works the best for you,” she said.

For the JEE 2023 aspirants, Ms Kabra suggests is to do preparations by appearing in national level exams which give students a chance to compete with students from across the country and give them an all-India ranking. "Exams can also give one an idea of where he or she stands in studies. Students also get the much-needed exposure to multiple-choice questions, the evaluation method preferred by many competitive exams around the world,” she added.

“The journey of preparing for JEE can be a difficult one, and there will be times when you feel frustrated. In those moments, talking to parents and family members will help, as they will only try to help you out,” she said.

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) has also released the list of JEE Advanced female toppers zone-wise. According to IIT Bombay, the second and third female toppers are- Palli Jalajakshi from IIT Madras with AIR 24 and Jaladhi Joshi from IIT Bombay with AIR 32 respectively. As many as 35,124 female candidates registered for the JEE Advanced 2022. Of which 33,608 candidates took the exam and 6,516 candidates got qualified in JEE Advanced 2022.
