British Council invites Indian education institutions for Global Partnerships

United Kingdom's British Council

has invited joint applications for Going Global Partnerships for Exploratory Grant and Collaborative Grant from teaching faculty in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in India and the UK who would like to create joint bachelors, masters, diploma or certificate courses on themes of mutual bilateral interest and market demand.

The Deadline for sending applications is October 12 ,2021.

Who can apply

For the Exploratory grant, applicants must include at least one university from the UK that will be the Lead Applicant and one Indian university as the co-applicant. A maximum of four universities can partner for this grant.

For the Collaboration grant, applicants may have a partnership of four to eight universities, where at least one university is from the UK. Universities must fill the application jointly, and the Lead Applicant (one of the UK universities) must submit the application.

Indian Institutions may be government or privately funded and recognised by state governments, UGC, AICTE, or any other competent body in India. Indian institutes of eminence, Indian institutes of national importance are encouraged to apply.
