The timeline for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams, which are slated for May 2022, has been issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The Foundation tests under the new exam scheme will be held on May 23, 25, 27, and 29, according to the schedule.
Group I intermediate exams will begin on May 15 and end on May 22, while Group II intermediate exams will begin on May 24 and end on May 30. Group I final exams will be held between May 14 and 21, while group B final exams will be held between May 23 and 29. On the 14th and 17th of May, the International Taxation Assessment Exam will be held. Candidates can view the schedule in its entirety at icaiexam.icai.org/.
While Paper(s) 3 & 4 of the Foundation Exam will be 2 hours long, Elective Paper – 6 of the Final Exam will be 4 hours long. All other examinations will last three hours.
No advance reading time will be granted for Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation examination, as well as all papers of the post qualification course examination – INTT – AT, however an advance reading time of 15 minutes will be provided for all other papers/exams from 1.45 pm to 2 pm.
Candidates must apply online at icaiexam.icai.org from February 21 to March 13 to be considered for admission to the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations.
