What is Gandhian India
Gandhi philosophy is a body of ideas that describes the inspiration, vision, and the life work of Mohandas Gandhi. It is particularly associated with his contributions to the idea of nonviolent resistance, sometimes also called civil resistance. The two pillars of Gandhism are satya (truth) and nonviolence ahimsa (nonviolence).For Gandhi, truth is the relative truth of truthfulness in word and deed, and the absolute truth - the Ultimate Reality. This ultimate truth is God (as God is also Truth) and morality - the moral laws and code - its basis. Ahimsa, far from meaning mere peacefulness or the absence of overt violence, is understood by Gandhi to denote active love - the pole opposite of violence, or "Himsa", in every sense.
About the competition
This competition is for celebrating Gandhian philosophy and its relevance for modern India. This competition aims at promoting the powerful ideas of truth & non-violence for re-structuring Indian society in this post pandemic era.
Participating artist will articulate their ideas through the following medium : Poster , Photography & Fashion Illustration.
This competition is open for Indian citizen aged between15-25 years.

Competition Details
Poster Competition
Participants have to design a poster that reflects Gandhi's Philosophy of Truth or Nonviolence .All submissions should strictly follow the below mentioned points:
1- Mix media techniques like assemblages/collages/painting or digital software can be used to create the poster.
2- The visuals used in the poster should be self explanatory.
3-Title or slogan used on the poster ,if any, should be in English or Hindi
4- The participants shall have a valid Aadhar card
5- The size of your submission should be in a square format 10 inches X 10 inches
6-The image quality of submission should be 150 dpi resolution
7- Entries in Jpeg & Png. format with a maximum file size of 1 megapixel (1MB) are accepted.
8-You will get the link for submission after registration.
9-One participants can make only one submissions
10-The submissions must be original work of participants
11-There is no fee for participation
12-entries files should be be named as full name of the participant ending with the last 4 digits of phone number e.g. The file name of Rahul Sachdeva with phone number 9876543211 should be Rahulsachdeva3211.

Photography
Photographs that carries the essence of Gandhi's Philosophy of Truth or Nonviolence are invited for this competitions. All submissions should strictly follow the below mentioned points:
1- This submitted photograph should be an original photograph and participants should have the copyrights .
2- Photographs from phone camera and DSLR cameras are eligible.
3-The entries that has already been uploaded on another website except participants own social media or blog , will be disqualified
4- The participants shall have a valid Aadhar card
5- The size of your submission should be in a square format 10 inches X 10 inches
6-The image quality of submission should be 72 dpi resolution
7- Entries in Jpeg & Png. format with a maximum file size of 1 megapixel (1MB) are accepted.
8-You will get the link for submission after registration.
9-One participants can make only one submissions
10-There is no fee for participation

Fashion Illustration
Fashion Illustrations showcasing womenswear designs created in 80%-100% Khadi fabric .All submissions should strictly follow the below mentioned points:
1- This submitted fashion illustrations should be original and participants should have the copyrights .
2- Designers are free to use manual , digital or combination tools to create the illustration.
3-The entries that has already been uploaded on another website except participants own social media or blog , will be disqualified
