200 kg Afghan Heroin Caught On Way To India

200 kilogrammes of heroin manufactured in Afghanistan, estimated to be worth 1,200 crore, was first transported into Pakistan on an Iranian boat and then intended for sale in India and Sri Lanka, according to Indian officials today, who apprehended the boat and detained six Iranian citizens.

According to officials, this Iranian boat intended to transfer the drugs, which were being shipped in a waterproof, seven-layer package, to an untraceable Sri Lankan boat.

According to Sanjay Kumar Singh, a senior employee of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), the Indian Navy and the NCB carried out the operation on the water on Thursday and transported the package they had recovered to Kochi in Kerala along with the six Iranian nationals.
