Banaras Hindu University offer financial help to all Divyang students


Under this programme, the BHU would offer financial help toand BPL card holders at the institution in the amount of Rs 25,000 annually. This is another another step in the BHU's effort to support the education of its students, which has recently seen the adoption of a number of innovative initiatives. The Banaras Hindu University previously introduced Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's Internship Program for Students on September 30. The university would first give a one-year internship on 100 places through this programme. The students would get a set monthly wage of Rs 20,000 during the internship programme.

"Every year Rs. 25,000 will be transferred into the bank accounts of all the divyang students of Banaras Hindu University. Under the second scheme, BPL card holder students shall be eligible to receive a financial assistance of Rs. 25,000 per annum. This will also be transferred directly into their accounts." said Vice-Chancellor Professor Sudhir Kumar Jain
