As indicated by several media reports, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will most likely conduct the 2021 Gujarat board exams for students of classes 10 and 12 in May, and the exact dates for the same will be released soon.
It is speculated that the Gujarat Board Examination 2021 Date Sheet will be published on the official GSEB website by the end of next week.
In November 2020, the Gujarat Board announced the decision to postpone board examinations for this academic year. As no classroom studies were performed this year due to the pandemic, this decision was made to give students some extra time to prepare for the exams.
Increased number of exam centers
In order to uphold social distance standards set by the central government, the number of examination centers for the Gujarat Board Exams 2021 was increased this year from 5500 to 6700. This year, the number of examination rooms has also risen.
In order to relieve students from some academic burden caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the syllabus for students in classes 10 and 12 was also decreased this year. Several state boards have made the same move in light of the pandemic.
It is also speculated that many modifications to the examination pattern of the 2021 Gujarat board examinations will be made. The dates for the 2021 CBSE board exams have also been announced. The exams are scheduled to begin on May 4.
