9 School Students Dead As Kerala School Trip Bus Collides


According to media sources, a 20-year-old student of Indian descent was found dead in his dormitory in the US state of Indiana, and his Korean roommate was arrested.

Police announced on Wednesday that Indianapolis resident Varun Manish Chheda, a student at Purdue University, had been discovered dead in McCutcheon Hall on the western end of the campus.


According to the school's police chief, another university student was detained on a murder accusation on Wednesday, according to NBC News.The private bus's fast speed and the driver's carelessness caused the collision.


Three of the 81 people on board the KSRTC bus, which was travelling from Kottarakkara in Kerala to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, were killed in the collision, he claimed.


42 students and 5 instructors from Baselios Vidyanikethan Senior Secondary School in Ernakulam were travelling for enjoyment on a private bus.


Four of the injured were in bad condition, according to State Local Self Government Minister M B Rajesh, who visited the hospital in Palakkad where they were admitted, while the other three were all OK.
