In the wake of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has postponed entrance tests for admission to BSc (honours) Nursing and MSc programmes. The tests were originally set on June 14, but the institute said that alternative dates will be revealed later. Between May 19 and 25, AIIMS permitted students who had completed their final registration for the BSc Nursing entrance exams to select their chosen exam city. Candidates who had completed the basic registration but not the online final registration were also given the opportunity to finish the process during this time.
Candidates who have passed their Class 12 board exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and have a minimum of 55 percent (50 percent for SC and ST) can apply for the programme.
On July 2, admit cards for the AIIMS BSc (H) Nursing entrance test were set to be distributed. However, due to the postponement of the exam, the process is likely to be delayed.
The institute has asked applicants to visit the website aiimsexams.ac.in for important updates related to the exam
