AIIMS Recruitment Commences: Application Process for Group B and C Posts

New Delhi, July 13, 2025 — The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has officially opened the application window for the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2025. This nationwide recruitment drive aims to fill various Group B and Group C positions across AIIMS institutions. Eligible candidates can apply through the official website — aiimsexams.ac.in — until July 31, 2025.

🔹 Key Dates:

• Application Start Date: July 12, 2025

• Last Date to Apply: July 31, 2025

• Application Status Announcement: August 7, 2025

• Tentative CBT Dates: August 25 and 26, 2025

• Admit Card Release: 3 days before the exam

🔹 Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹3000

• SC/ST/EWS: ₹2400

• PwD candidates: Fee ExemptedNote: Candidates applying for multiple groups must pay fees separately for each.

🔹 Exam Pattern:

The CRE 2025 will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) lasting 90 minutes. It will comprise 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks. The exam is structured into five sections, each with 20 questions to be completed in 18 minutes:

• General Knowledge

• Aptitude

• Computer Knowledge

• Subject-Specific Topics (80 questions total across the paper)

🔹 Admit Card and Exam Centres:

Exam centres will be set up across all major States and Union Territories of India, subject to the number of applications received. Candidates can check their allotted exam city and state on the AIIMS website 7 days prior to the test. Admit cards will be made available 3 days before the exam and must be downloaded from the official portal using login credentials. No physical admit cards will be sent by post.
