Andhra Pradesh has announced that schools will reopen for online classes on July 12

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to start lessons in schools in the offline mode on August 16 and in the online mode on July 12, according to state Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh. The Andhra Pradesh government has also cancelled the Class 10 and Class 12 Intermediate exams because to the ongoing Covid problem. According to Education Minister A Suresh, the tests were cancelled because it was difficult to meet the Supreme Court's July 31 deadline for finishing the process.

A "high-powered committee" would be formed, according to the Education Minister, to review the grades and award the intermediate students for the cancelled board exams. On April 20, the state administration announced summer holidays for pupils in grades 1 through 9. The government has also promised such kids a dry ration to support their dietary needs and protect their immunity during the COVID-19 outbreak. All of the kids were promoted to the next class on the spot. It also announced that kids in Class 10 will be served lunch in the middle of the day.

"All pupils in Classes 1 to 9 will be treated as passing and advanced to their following classes, obviating the need for Summative Assessment-II examinations in the academic year 2020-21," according to an official statement.
