New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh showcased its vibrant textile industry, rich handloom heritage, investment opportunities, and export potential at Bharat Tex 2026, on its first day today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The Andhra Pradesh Pavilion emerged as a major attraction on the inaugural day of Bharat Tex 2026, welcoming a steady stream of entrepreneurs, business leaders, and dignitaries. Rajya Sabha MP V. Vijayendra Prasad was among those impressed by the state's vibrant display of handlooms and textiles.
"I am enthralled by the rich textile heritage of Andhra Pradesh and feel proud of the remarkable variety of fabrics and products made from natural materials," he remarked after visiting the pavilion.
Among the key exhibitors at the Andhra Pradesh Pavilion are Guntur Textile Park, Tarakeswara Textile Park, Harish Fashions, and APCO, along with 40 entrepreneurs and exporters representing Champion and Aspirational districts across the state.

The state government aims to leverage the global textile event to attract fresh investments, strengthen export linkages, expand market access, and accelerate the growth of Andhra Pradesh's textile ecosystem.
The pavilion showcases Andhra Pradesh's textile parks, GI-tagged products, One District One Product (ODOP) initiatives, export-oriented industries, and traditional weaving clusters, in line with Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's vision of making the state a preferred destination for textile manufacturing and investment.
Commissioner Rekha Rani is spearheading the state's pavilion while ensuring the active participation of entrepreneurs and industry stakeholders.
Bharat Tex 2026 is among the world's largest textile exhibitions, bringing together manufacturers, exporters, buyers, investors, technology providers, and international delegates
