Bank of Maharashtra Opens Recruitment for 500 Generalist Officer Posts

Pune: The Bank of Maharashtra has launched a recruitment drive for 500 Generalist Officer (Scale II) positions. The online application process began on August 13, 2025, and will remain open until August 30, 2025, through the official website bankofmaharashtra.in.

Eligibility CriteriaApplicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Integrated Dual Degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) from a recognised university/institute, or be a Chartered Accountant. Additional qualifications such as CMA, CFA, ICWA, JAIIB, or CAIIB will be considered desirable. Candidates must also have a minimum of three years’ experience as an officer in a Scheduled Public or Private Sector Bank, preferably in credit, branch management, or other leadership roles.

The age limit is set between 22 and 35 years, with applicable relaxations for reserved categories under government norms.

Salary and PerksSelected candidates will receive a Scale II basic pay ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹93,960, in addition to allowances like Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance/Lease Rental, City Compensatory Allowance, medical benefits, and other perks as per bank policy.
