CBSE Board Exams 2021: PIB warns students on social media about fake date sheets


PIB has stated that the dates circulating on social media for CBSE Board Exams 2021 are false.



Soon after the announcement by Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal of the Central Board of Secondary Education and Education of the dates of the 2021 CBSE board exams, a date sheet was circulated on social media, with the subject wise dates of the exams.

A statement was issued soon after by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check team, warning students not to believe that the dates are circulated on social media and depend solely on information released by Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal.


Union Education Minister Ram has already published the dates of the 2021 CBSE Board Exams and practical examinations for students in classes 10 and 12.


CBSE Board Exams 2021: December 31 dates published

Union Minister of Education Ramesh Pokhriyal announced in a live session on December 31 that the CBSE Board of Examinations 2021 will begin on May 4 for classes 10 and 12 and conclude on June 10 for both classes.


He also announced that the 2021 CBSE practical exams for students would take place from 1 March onwards. It was also announced earlier that only after all the schools are reopened would the practical examinations be administered in school labs.
