CBSE Board Exams 2026 Live Updates:The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 English examination today, March 12, 2026, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The paper will have a duration of three hours, and students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall after 10:00 AM.

To pass the Class 12 English exam, students must score at least 33 per cent marks. The CBSE Class 12 English exam analysis for 2026 will be released after the completion of the exam and will be available online.

The CBSE Class 12 board examinations 2026 are being conducted from February 17 to April 10 across 114 subjects at more than 8,000 examination centres. Nearly 18–20 lakh students are expected to appear for the Class 12 board exams this year.

According to CBSE guidelines, all candidates must carry their original CBSE Class 12 admit card along with their school identity card for verification before entering the examination centre. Students will be given 15 minutes—from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM—to read the question paper before the exam begins.

Important Instructions for Students

• Students should reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.

• Entry to the examination hall will close at 10:00 AM.

• Question papers will be distributed at 10:15 AM, but students can begin writing only at 10:30 AM.

• Candidates must carry their admit card, school ID, and necessary writing materials.

• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, or any other gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
