Central University of Tamil Nadu Invites Applications for Vice-Chancellor Post

New Delhi:The Ministry of Education has invited applications for the position of Vice-Chancellor at the Central University of Tamil Nadu. Eligible and interested candidates can visit the official website of the Ministry of Education for detailed information and the application process.

According to the official notification, applicants must possess the highest level of competence, integrity, morals, and institutional commitment.

Eligibility Criteria

The post is open to distinguished academicians with:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Professor in a university, or

• At least 10 years of experience in a reputed research and/or academic administrative organization, with demonstrated evidence of academic leadership.

The applicant should not be more than 65 years of age as of the closing date of application.

Salary and Service Conditions

The selected candidate will receive a fixed salary of ₹2,10,000 per month, along with a Special Allowance of ₹11,250 and other usual allowances as per government norms.

Selection Procedure

The appointment of the Vice-Chancellor will be made from a panel of names recommended by the Search-cum-Selection Committee, constituted in accordance with UGC regulations and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education.
