Delhi girl Kavya creates history, becomes the first female with 100 percentile in JEE Main


Delhi's Kavya Chopra, the top scorer in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2021, has made history by scoring a perfect score. Kavya is also the first female to achieve a perfect score of 300 out of 300 in the JEE Main 2021 March Session. Furthermore, she had taken the February exam but was dissatisfied with her results.

Kavya Chopra has scored 99.97 percentile in the February attempt but had wanted to score more than 99.98 percentile. Desirous of achieving perfection, she decided to appear for the March examination as well.

A student of DPS Vasant Kunj, Delhi, Kavya's academic life has been full of achievements. She has been qualifying RMO continuously from 9th standard. She had scored 97.6% in her class 10 and qualified NSEA in Class 11. After qualifying INJSO in 10th, she joined Homi Bhabha Centre. She has also qualified IOQP, IOQC and IOQM.

Talking about Kavya’s family, her father is a computer science engineer and her mother is a mathematics teacher. Her younger brother is studying in class 9. Kavya aspires to become a computer science engineer. She beileves that Computer Science is all about the application of mathematics knowlege.

Kavya put in about 7 to 8 hours daily to her studies. She had moved to Kota to materialise her dream of becoming an engineer like her father. She is a student of Allen Career Institute, Kota. Her mother is a teacher. Kavya wants to crack JEE Advanced and join Computer Science program at IIT Bombay.

Kavya said, her parents always treated her and her brother equally with no discrimation. She is grateful for being a priviledged girl as there are many girls in our country who don't even get to chance to go to schools.

The NTA will reelase the All Indian ranks once May session gets concluded.
