“Eager To See You Lead Tamil Nadu” : Kushboo Sundar Hails ‘Jana Nayagan’ Vijay After Historic Poll Triumph”

In a stunning crossover from cinema to politics, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has delivered a debut performance few could have predicted. In the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, surged past entrenched giants like the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam to emerge as the single largest party, securing a remarkable 107 out of 234 seats.

It was more than a victory—it was a moment of political disruption. A new narrative had taken hold, powered by a generation eager for change and a leader who had long commanded mass appeal beyond the ballot box.

As the results poured in, applause echoed far beyond political circles. Icons from across the film industry came together in rare unanimity. Superstar Rajinikanth extended his congratulations, acknowledging Vijay and his party for their “resounding victory.” Khushbu Sundar shared a heartfelt message, calling him a “Jana Nayagan” (people’s leader), while names like Kamal Haasan, Rashmika Mandanna, and A. R. Rahman joined the chorus celebrating his historic rise.

The wave didn’t stop there. Actors including Dhanush, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, and Kajal Aggarwal added their voices, marking the moment as one of the most celebrated political breakthroughs in recent memory.

Yet, even as the celebrations continue, the road ahead holds its own drama. With the majority mark set at 118, TVK falls just short. But as the single largest party, it stands at the threshold of power. The governor is expected to invite Vijay to form the government—potentially as a minority administration.

Behind the scenes, negotiations are already taking shape. Parties aligned with the DMK, including the Indian National Congress, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, could play a crucial role in determining whether this cinematic triumph transforms into a stable government.

For now, one thing is clear: Thalapathy Vijay has rewritten the script. And in doing so, he hasn’t just entered politics—he’s reshaped it.
