For the first time, NEET 2021 will be headquartered in Dubai this year.

According to officials, the Ministry of Education has planned to open a centre in Dubai for the medical entrance exam NEET this year. The government stated earlier this month that the exam will be held in Kuwait for the first time to help the Indian student community in the Middle East.

In a letter to the Foreign Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, HRD Secretary Amit Khare said, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to construct one more centre city in Dubai in addition to the one previously created in Kuwait city during the year 2021."

This is something that the Indian community in the Gulf countries should be aware of. I'd also appreciate it if the Indian embassies in Kuwait and Dubai were urged to provide the NTA with full assistance in conducting the exam in a fair and secure manner," he added.

This year's test will be conducted in Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Bengali, Odia, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Urdu, and English, among other languages. Punjabi and Malyalam are two additional languages added to the list. The NEET, which was originally planned for August 1, has been rescheduled for September 12. From 155 to 198 cities, examinations will be performed. In addition, the number of examination centres will be expanded from 3,862 in 2020.
