Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has invited applications for the posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), and Primary Teacher (PRT). Candidates who wish to apply for the posts can register on the official website of AWES, awesindia.com.
The eligibility criteria for PGT post is that the candidates must possess a post graduation degree along with a BEd, for TGT post a graduation degree and BEd is required, and for PRT post the candidates need to have a graduation degree and two year DElEd/BElEd or candidates with BEd can also apply given they have completed a six month PDPET/Bridge course from an NCTE recognized institution.
For eligibility the age limit for fresher candidates is below the age of 40 years, and for the experienced candidates their age should not be over 57 years as on April 1, 2023.

Closing date of application: October 5, 2022
Availability of admit card: October 20, 2022
Date of examination: November 5 and 6, 2022
Results declared on: November 20, 2022
The selection process will be done through online screening test, interview and evaluation of candidate's teaching skills and computer proficiency, the test will be on November 5 and 6. The results will be declared on November 20. Those candidates who will clear the screening test will be eligible to apply for teaching posts at several Army Public Schools.
