IGNOU Has Launched A New Urdu Master's Program

The School of Humanities at Indira Gandhi National Open University has launched an Open Distance Learning Master's Programme in Urdu (MUD). The course introduces students to a wide range of Urdu literature and language. Students will gain a solid understanding of Urdu literature as well as other literatures such as Arabic, Persian, English, Hindi, and other new languages.

From the July 2021 session onwards, IGNOU will offer a new postgraduate diploma programme in Development Communication (PGDDC). Professor Nageshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, launched a new academic programme designed by the School of Journalism and New Media Studies on June 25.

PGDDC aims to provide students with a solid understanding of the development process' key concerns, allowing them to find work in a variety of local, national, and worldwide organisations.

The new academic curriculum will last for one year. Students who successfully complete their undergraduate programmes will be entitled to enrol for the postgraduate diploma programme in Development Communication.
