IIT-Hyderabad to offer joint doctoral programme with Deakin University





In partnership with Deakin University, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Hyderabad) is offering a joint doctoral programme. According to the institute, the curriculum will address a broad range of topics such as materials and smart manufacturing, accessible healthcare, food, climate, and agriculture, artificial intelligence, computer learning, data science, cyber-physical systems, and energy conservation.


To be qualified for the doctoral programme, applicants must have a BTech or MTech degree and must also pass the interview round. According to the research requirements, qualified candidates can spend 3 to 12 months at Deakin University.


The students will earn a PhD fellowship that includes travel to Deakin University. In addition, the university will waive all tuition fees for up to four years. Candidates can receive certificates from both institutes upon completion of the programme.
