IIT Madras will host a hackathon in collaboration with Sony India Software Centre



The IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation (IITM-PTF) is teaming up with Sony India Software Centre Pvt. Ltd. to host a national hackathon named "SAMVEDAN 2021 - Sensing Solutions for Bharat" to encourage individuals to use IoT Sensor Board to solve India-specific social challenges. The registration period for this challenge began on July 1, 2021, and it is available to all Indians.


The big challenge can be entered by a team of up to three people. Quarterfinals, semi-finals, and finals are the three stages of the competition. 75 concepts will be chosen for the quarter-finals, and 25 of the finest will be chosen for the semi-finals.


There will be seven finalists, each of whom will get a prize. The winning teams will receive 3 lakhs in prize money. Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation will also offer each quarterfinalist with a free SPRESENSETM board through the IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation.
