New Delhi, June 29 — Indian Bank has released an official notification inviting applications for the recruitment of two Office Assistant posts. Interested and eligible candidates must apply offline, with the last date to submit the completed application form being July 16, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be between 22 and 40 years of age and hold a graduate degree in BSW, BA, or B.Com. Basic computer knowledge is essential, and preference will be given to those with familiarity in basic accounting. Prior experience as an Office Assistant will be considered an added advantage.

Fluency in the local language (spoken and written) is mandatory. Though not essential, proficiency in English is desirable. Applicants should be skilled in MS Office (Word and Excel), Tally, and internet usage. Typing skills in the local language are a must, while the ability to type in English will offer an edge. Since the role may involve travel or field visits, having a valid driving license is considered preferable.

Selection Process

The selection process includes a written test assessing general knowledge and computer skills, followed by a personal interview to evaluate communication skills, leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, and aptitude for working with trainees.

Contract Period

Selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for three years, subject to annual performance reviews. The contract will automatically terminate upon completion of the period. However, Indian Bank reserves the right to terminate the engagement at any point based on unsatisfactory performance or other appropriate reasons.
