Indraprastha University (IP) has begun the process of accepting online applications for undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, for the academic year 2021–22, five new programs have been launched at its newly established East Delhi campus in Surajmal Vihar.
The new programmes which have been introduced at the newly created school, University School of Automation & Robotics (USAR) in East Delhi campus of the university are B Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, B Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, B Tech in Industrial Internet of Things and B Tech in Automation & Robotics. Another new school i.e. the University School of Design & Innovation (USDI) has also introduced Bachelor of Design. IP University is also going to introduce M. Arch (Urban Planning), M. Plan (Urban Regional Planning) under the existing school of University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP) and M.Sc In Packaging Technology under University School of Basic and Applied Sciences (USBAS) at Dwarka campus. Mahesh Verma, vice chancellor, IP University informed that the university would also start PhD in Economics and Architecture. Admissions to B. Tech, MBA, Law, Medical, MCA, B. Arch, etc will be given on the basis of National Level Tests similar to what happened last year. Admission to B. Sc (Nursing)will be done on the basis of NEET. Admission to Bachelor of Design programme will be given on the basis of Nation Level Test. The university will conduct computer-based Common Entrance Tests(CETs) for admissions to 58 composite academic programmes maintaining all SOPs in the month of August and September.
