Intelligence Bureau ACIO Recruitment 2025: Application Process Begins for 258 Technical Posts

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has opened applications for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Tech Recruitment 2025. Candidates aspiring to join India’s premier intelligence agency can now apply through the official MHA website. The last date to submit applications is November 16, 2025.
Vacancy Details
A total of 258 vacancies have been announced:
Computer Science & Information Technology: 90 posts
Electronics & Communication: 168 posts
The posts carry a pay scale of ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Level 7) under the 7th CPC.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
A valid GATE score in either Computer Science & Information Technology or Electronics & Communication from the years 2023, 2024, or 2025.
A Bachelor’s degree in the corresponding discipline.
Age between 18 and 27 years as on November 16, 2025.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on GATE scores, followed by a Skill Test and an Interview.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test and interview at 10 times the number of vacancies based on their GATE scores.
Both the skill test and interview will be conducted in Delhi.
The final merit list will consider performance across all three stages:
GATE Score: 750 marks
Skill Test: 250 marks
Interview: 175 marks(Total: 1175 marks)
Final selection will be subject to character verification and medical examination. Candidates will receive further details about the interview and subsequent stages via email.
The skill test will assess technical competence relevant to the job role, while the interview will evaluate subject expertise and communication skills.

Click on “To Register” (for first-time users) and create an account.
Log in using your credentials and fill out the application form.
Submit the form before November 16, 2025.
