JKCET 2021: Last date to apply is April 30, check details here

For the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET) 2021, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) is accepting applications. The deadline to apply for the entrance exam was originally April 6, but it was later extended to April 16. The deadline was later extended again, and the deadline for filling out online application forms is now April 30.

Admission to full-time BE/BTech Engineering courses in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, and Information Technology is based on the results of the entrance exam.

The CET question paper will be divided into three sections: physics, chemistry, and mathematics, with a total of 180 questions (60 from each section) and a time limit of three hours. Each query will be a multiple-choice objective form with a single label. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 points will be deducted.

In the event that the entrance test is not held, a merit list will be created based on the candidates' aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (class 12). If an entrance examination is held, applicants will be chosen for entry to the programme based on their success in the entrance exam and their eligibility.

The result will be published in two or more local dailies and will be uploaded on the website of the Board http://www.jkbopee.gov.in/www.jakbopee.org. The process of selection will be notified separately.
