Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) Online Application Starts



The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) application process has commenced. Students seeking admission to the state's institutes' Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Medical, and allied professional degree programmes can apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in. The application window for KEAM will be available till June 21. The Engineering eligibility examination will be held on July 24.


Candidates who have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject (to be substituted by Computer Science, Biotechnology, or Biology, as the case may be) with at least 45 percent marks will be eligible to apply, according to the KEAM prospectus. Candidates who fall into one of the reserved categories will be considered.


Documents Required For KEAM 2021 Registration

  • Non-creamy layer certificate for state education purpose

  • Caste certificate

  • Community certificate

  • Income certificate from the village officer

  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificates from the village officer

  • Identity proof including birth certificate or school certificate

  • Economically-weaker section certificate (if applicable)

  • Community certificate (if applicable)

NRI applicants will be required to provide an additional set of documents, including a copy of their passport, an embassy employment certificate, a relationship certificate from the sponsor or student, and an affidavit.


Paper 1 of KEAM, Physics and Chemistry, will be held in the morning session from 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., while Paper 2 Mathematics will be held in the afternoon session from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. In KEAM 2021, candidates must answer 120 questions in each paper worth four points. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
