The Indian Navy is closing its online application window on September 1, 2025, for the recruitment of 260 Short Service Commission (SSC) Officers across multiple branches. Eligible candidates are advised to apply immediately at 👉 www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

🔹 Who Can Apply?

  • Graduates / Final-year students (BE/BTech with 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA)

  • Postgraduates: MSc, MCA, MBA, MTech

  • Law graduates

  • Professionals: Commercial Pilot License (CPL) holders, Merchant Navy officers, NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders

🔹 Branches & Vacancies

  • Executive Branch: GS(X), Hydro Cadre, Pilot, Naval Air Ops, Air Traffic Controller, Logistics, Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC), Law

  • Education Branch: 15 posts

  • Engineering & Technical Branches: Engineering, Electrical, Naval Constructor

🔹 Eligibility

  • Age: Born between July 2, 1996 – Jan 1, 2007 (varies by branch)

  • Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates are eligible

🔹 Training & Career Path

  • Training starts June 2026 at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala

  • On successful completion, candidates will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenants

  • Salary: Starting pay ~ ₹1,10,000/month + allowances (flying, submarine, air ops, etc.)

  • Probation: 2 years (3 years for NAIC)

  • Benefits: Naval Group Insurance Scheme (NGIS), career growth in uniform

🔹 Selection Process

  • Shortlisting based on normalized marks (up to 5th semester for BE/BTech, all semesters for PG)

  • SSB interview + medical examination

  • Final selection via merit list

🔹 Application Process

  1. Register at joinindiannavy.gov.in

  2. Fill details as per matriculation certificate

  3. Upload required documents: marksheets, proof of degree/ongoing studies, DOB certificate, photo, and certifications (NCC, CPL, etc.)

  4. Submit application & save printout for SSB

⚠️ Important: Candidates marrying during training will be discharged.
