“Male dominance is high in DMK” – BJP Leader Khushbu Sundar

BJP leader Khushbu Sundar has strongly criticized the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), accusing the party of being heavily male-dominated and failing to provide adequate space for women.

Speaking in response to recent political discussions on women’s representation, Khushbu alleged that women within the DMK are not given equal importance or meaningful opportunities to grow within the party structure. She claimed that a “clear culture of male dominance” exists, which sidelines female voices.

Khushbu further stated that women leaders in the DMK often face neglect, with their opinions either overlooked or suppressed in key decision-making processes. Her remarks were notably sharp and emotional, directly targeting what she described as systemic gender imbalance within the party.

The criticism comes amid ongoing political debates in Tamil Nadu regarding gender equality and the role of women in leadership positions across major parties. While the DMK has not officially responded to these specific allegations yet, the issue has added to the intensifying political discourse ahead of upcoming electoral developments.
