New Delhi, November 2025:The 22-year-old Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan is all set to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this year. Crowned Miss Universe India 2025 in August, she received the title from her predecessor, Rhea Singha, Miss Universe India 2024.
Born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, Manika currently resides in Delhi, where she is pursuing her final year in Political Science and Economics at Delhi University.
Crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on August 18 in Jaipur, she had earlier won the Miss Universe Rajasthan title, marking a steady rise in the world of beauty pageants.
At the national level, Manika stood out with her confidence and intellect. During the final question round, when asked to choose between prioritizing women’s education or financial aid for low-income families, she chose women’s education — emphasizing that its transformative power can break the cycle of poverty.
Apart from her academic and pageant achievements, Manika is also trained in classical dance and is a skilled painter. Her artistic work has been recognized by the Lalit Kala Akademi and the JJ School of Art.
She is also the founder of Neuronova, an initiative promoting awareness about neurodivergence, including conditions like ADHD, and advocating for more inclusive conversations around mental and cognitive diversity.
The 74th Miss Universe pageant will take place on November 21, 2025, at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. The reigning Miss Universe, Victoria Theilvig of Denmark, will crown her successor at the event.
India boasts a glorious Miss Universe legacy, with three titleholders — Sushmita Sen (1994), Lara Dutta (2000), and Harnaaz Sandhu (2021) — who became global icons. Manika Vishwakarma now carries forward that legacy, aiming to bring home the crown once again.
