The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) stated on Wednesday that students who have lost a parent who was the family's sole earner as a result of COVID-19 will have their course costs waived. This decision was announced on MAHE's official social media sites. "MAHE has agreed to grant a full fee (course fee) waiver in the form of scholarship to students who have regrettably lost their father or mother who were the sole earning member of their family owing to COVID 19 for the remaining length of study," according to a statement from MAHE.
"Across all programmes, the complete course price will be granted as a scholarship for the remainder of the study period. According to MAHE guidelines, a fee waiver is available "Added the statement. This is one of two major initiatives announced by MAHE to make it easier for students to study at its component colleges.
MAHE, which is situated in Manipal, Karnataka, has recently announced that it will provide free vaccinations to all of its students. "We are pleased to provide vaccine assistance to all of our pupils. We have always provided assistance and support to our students at MAHE, especially during the difficult times of the pandemic "Dr. Narayana Sabhahit, MAHE's Registrar, stated.
