MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025: Choice-Filling Deadline Extended After Addition of New Seats

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced an extension of the choice-filling deadline for Round 3 of the NEET UG Counselling 2025. This extension follows the addition of new seats in the counselling process. Candidates can now complete their choice-filling process until 11:59 pm today, October 10, 2025.
Students can view details of the newly added seats in the official notification available on the MCC website – mcc.nic.in.
Earlier, the Round 3 results were scheduled to be declared on October 8, but due to the inclusion of new seats, the seat allotment results are now expected in the third week of October 2025.
In total, 42 new seats have been added across two medical colleges —
Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College, and
Vels Medical College and Hospital under VISTAS.
Once the Round 3 seat allotment results are announced, candidates must report to their allotted colleges with the required documents for admission. As per the previous schedule, the last date for reporting is October 17, while classes are set to commence on October 22, 2025.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Steps to Fill and Lock Choices
Visit the official website – mcc.nic.in.
On the homepage, click on the “UG Medical” section.
Under the “Candidate Activity Board,” select “New Registration 2025.”
Fill in and select your preferred institutes under the choice-filling tab.
Lock your choices to confirm your preferences.
Your choices will then be successfully registered for the seat allotment process.
