MPESB begins recruitment for 500 MP Police ASI and Subedar posts

The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has begun the online application process for the recruitment of 500 posts of assistant sub-inspector (ASI) and subedar (stenographer) under the Madhya Pradesh Police Department.
The application process started on October 3, 2025, and will continue until October 17, 2025. Candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms from October 3 to October 22, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website.

Register and generate login credentials.
Log in and fill in the application form with accurate details.
Upload required documents, pay the application fee, and submit.
Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.
The MPESB has emphasised that candidates must submit authentic documents and meet eligibility criteria as per the official notification released on September 19, 2025.
The application fee for candidates belonging to the unreserved, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs 500, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates will pay Rs 250. Applicants applying through MP Online kiosks will incur an additional service charge of Rs 60, and those applying through registered citizen users will be charged an extra portal fee of Rs 20. The fee can be paid online via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
The recruitment process will include a written examination, followed by physical and skill tests, document verification, and a medical examination. The written examination will be held on December 10, 2025, in two shifts — the Subedar (Stenographer) exam will take place in the morning shift from 9.30 am to 11.30 am, with reporting time at 7.30 am, while the ASI exam will be conducted in the afternoon shift from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, with reporting time at 12.30 pm. Candidates must bring their original photo ID, and Aadhaar registration is mandatory for appearing in the exam.
