NDA, Naval Academy Examination for women, Apply before October 8

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has reopened the application portal for women only for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (II) in 2021. They have till October 8 to apply for the exam. Visit https://www.upsc.gov.in/ for further information.
Only unmarried applicants who were born between January 2, 2003 and January 1, 2006 are eligible. The exam will take place on November 14th.
"If a candidate of any gender other than female applies, the candidate will be subject to penal action in accordance with Rule 7 of the Rules for this Examination, including debarment from appearing in any future UPSC Examinations/Recruitments for a period of ten years," according to a UPSC notification.Applicants should note that there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres. Allotment of Centers will be on the 'first-apply-first allot' basis, and once the capacity of a particular Center is attained, the same will be frozen.
Applicants are, thus, advised that they may apply early so that they could get a Center of their choice.
