NIFT Entrance Exam 2023 - National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released the tentative schedule for the admission cycle.
The application form for NIFT 2023 will OPEN in the 1st week of November 2022. With regular fees, applications are open up to the last week of December 2022; however, with a late fee of IBR 5000, registrations will be accepted till the 1st week of January.
The institute will conduct the written exams for NIFT 2023 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in the 3rd week of January 2023. The exam will comprise the GAT and CAT written tests, which will be administered at various test centers across the country.
The NIFT 2023 entrance exam will be conducted in two stages:
Candidates first appear in the written tests
Next, scores of the written test will be used to shortlist candidates for a Situation Test/ GDPI.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Des and M.Des have to take both CAT and GAT, whereas B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M candidates only need to take the GAT.
The FINAL result for NIFT 2023 will be prepared by giving weightage to each test component.
NIFT 2023 will have 17 participating NIFTs, offering a combined seat intake of 5, 023 seats. These include 4,188 All-India seats, 377 state domicile seats, and 458 NRI seats.
