The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 examination that was scheduled to be held on May 28, 2026. Students who were set to appear for the exam on that day will now have to wait for the revised schedule, which will be announced soon on the official website.
According to the official notice issued by the NTA, both shifts of the examination scheduled for May 28 have been postponed due to a change in the date of the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday, following a notification released by the Government of India.
The agency stated that fresh dates for the postponed examination will be released shortly. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official NTA website for updates regarding the revised exam schedule, admit cards, and city intimation slips.
Students have also been urged to rely only on official announcements to avoid confusion or misinformation related to the revised examination timetable. The updated CUET UG 2026 schedule is expected to be released soon.
