Oath Ceremony: BJP’s ‘Poriborton’ Brigade Gears Up In Bengal

West Bengal chief minister-designate Suvendu Adhikari on Friday said the state’s first BJP government would deliver on every promise made in the party’s election manifesto and work closely with the Centre to fulfil the aspirations of the people.

Addressing supporters after the party’s landmark victory, Mr Adhikari said the new administration would focus on governance, development and restoring public faith, marking what the BJP described as a new chapter in Bengal politics.
