PM Modi greets Chartered Accountants on CA Day 2021, and the ICAI plans to launch an app.

On Chartered Accountants' Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the profession, saying it plays an important part in India's prosperity. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), a statutory body created in 1949 under an act of Parliament, is commemorated on CA Day.

PM Modi said on Twitter, "On this CA Day, I extend my greetings to all chartered accountants. This community is critical to India's development. I urge all CPAs to maintain a laser-like focus on quality so that Indian businesses may compete with the best in the world."

On the occasion of CA Day, the ICAI will unveil a mobile app for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final course students. Students can get the app through Google Play for Android users. In the second phase, the mobile app "ICAI-BOS" will be expanded with more student services and a student portal at regular intervals.

“Widespread adoption and use of mobile technology has the potential to give next-generation interactive learning and novel approaches to increase quality services to students while also establishing a strong connection with them. It will also create a relationship with the student fraternity. The Board of Studies (Academic) is releasing a mobile app called "ICAI-BOS" with this goal in mind.
