Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on Thursday to mark the 'Urs' of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, wishing for happiness and peace in everyone’s lives.
In a gesture of respect, he presented a 'chadar' to Minorities Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, which will be offered on his behalf at the revered shrine of the Sufi saint in Ajmer.
"Greetings on the Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. May this occasion bring happiness and peace into everyone’s lives," Modi said.
