ree

New Delhi: Sanskriti School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm, energy, and a strong message of inclusion and gender equality. The event highlighted not just athletic skills but also the importance of holistic well-being through activities like Yoga and Judo.

The day began with a colourful March Past, where the spirit of togetherness shone bright. The most heartwarming moment came when special children proudly joined the March Past, receiving loud cheers from the audience. Their participation truly reflected the school’s belief in inclusion and equal opportunities for all.

A special Yoga presentation showcased balance, flexibility, and concentration, reminding everyone that fitness begins with inner peace. The Judo performance by both boys and girls was a showstopper — full of strength, coordination, and discipline. The crowd was enthralled as students demonstrated their skills with confidence and determination.

The event was presided over by the chief guest, Ms. Sowjanya Nagulapalli, Treasurer of The Civil Services Society, who lauded the efforts of the school in emphasizing sports and nurturing a spirit of teamwork and determination among children. She emphasized that participation is key to success and every child who takes part is a winner.

Principal Richa Agnihotri congratulated all participants for their dedication and teamwork. She applauded the students for embracing the true essence of sportsmanship — where inclusion, equality, and respect are the real victories.

What made the event stand out was the clear message that there is no discrimination between boys and girls. Both performed with equal excellence, proving that girls are no less when it comes to strength, skill, and spirit.
