Shakira Mumbai Show; Diljit Dosanjh to Join Her On Stage

Global pop icon Shakira has sparked huge excitement among Indian fans with her upcoming India tour. After announcing concerts in Mumbai and Delhi on April 10 and April 15 respectively, the singer has now added an additional show in Mumbai due to overwhelming demand.

The newly added performance will take place on April 11 at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse. Fans first spotted the extra show on the District by Zomato app over the weekend. However, ticket sales for this additional concert have not yet opened, and organisers are yet to announce the booking date.

Diljit Dosanjh Rumoured for Special Appearance

Adding to the excitement, there are strong rumours that Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh may join Shakira on stage during the concerts. While the collaboration has not been officially confirmed, the possibility of the two global stars sharing the stage has already created a buzz among fans.

Ticket Prices

Tickets for the first two concerts went on sale on March 1, with prices ranging from ₹6,000 for general admission to ₹32,000 for the premium HSBC Starstruck Lounge pass. Other categories include the Platinum Lounge at ₹24,500 and the VIP section priced at ₹14,500, excluding additional fees.

Part of Feeding India Concert Initiative

The concerts are part of the Feeding India Concert initiative, which aims to raise awareness about child nutrition and support the United Nations’s Zero Hunger goal.

Shakira will perform at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on April 10 and 11, followed by a show at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on April 15.

First Major India Performance in 19 Years

The upcoming tour marks Shakira’s first major concert appearance in India in nearly 19 years, after her 2007 performance in Mumbai during the Oral Fixation Tour.

“Performing in India has always been special to me, and I'm excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi. The Feeding India Concert is about more than music — it’s about ensuring every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive,” Shakira said in a statement.

Presented by HSBC India, the concerts are produced and exclusively ticketed by District by Zomato.
