Students who are awaiting their CBSE class 10 results can enrol in diploma courses and prepare for a professional sector of their choice immediately after passing these examinations, according to the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). According to the university's website, the Delhi government created the DSEU in August 2020 to provide students with world-class skill education to provide access to aspirational occupations and instil entrepreneurial mentality and entrepreneurship.
According to the institution, most pupils assume that enrollment in Class 11 is their only option. They can, however, prepare for a professional sector of their choice by taking diploma courses.
"Even beyond class ten, pupils have the option of studying a subject of their choice and preparing for the workforce. "With options to enrol in diploma courses in a variety of subjects such as interior design, garment technology, printing, electronics, civil engineering, and many more," the institution stated in a statement.
Pooja Chaudhary, a graduate of Kasturba Polytechnic College, currently known as DSEU Pitampura Campus, said the three-year programme helped her determine her career goals and preferences. Ms Chaudhary went on to study BTech at Madhya Pradesh's Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. "After completing my diploma, I found it very easy to compete with my engineering college's classmates and complete my degree."
