The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has extended the deadline for applying to the Postgraduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2021 for a second time. According to the most recent information, students can apply for the admission exam on the council's website, pgecet.tsche.ac.in, until June 5. “The deadline for applying online for the TS PGECET-2021 without paying a late fee has been extended until June 5, 2021.
From June 19 to 22, 2021, the entrance exam will be held. The application period began in March.
The registration price for the TS PGECET is Rs 500 for SC, ST, and PH candidates and Rs 1,000 for everyone else. Only online application forms and fees are accepted.
The exam for admission to postgraduate (PG) degrees in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture will be conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of the TSCHE.
The test will be administered online as a 120-point Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam's cut-off mark is 30 points. There is no minimal cut-off mark for SC and ST students.
In the TS PGECET, there are no negative marks for incorrect answers attempted. “Fifty percent in the qualifying examination is the eligibility condition for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy, according to the AICTE” (45 percent for reserved category). AICTE / Distance Education Council (DEC) permission is also required for qualifying degrees (professional courses) achieved through distance education, according to an official release.
