These young designers may not have graduated from a prestigious fashion college, but they’ve managed to recreate Sabyasachi’s opulent bridal collection using only fabric scraps. But these are no ordinary young girls, they're underprivileged children from 'Innovation For Change', a Lucknow-based NGO dedicated to uplifting them and promoting their growth in society. In the video, these young creators are seen reimagining iconic designs by Sabyasachi using donated clothes and fabric scraps from his campaigns. Not only did they craft these designs, but they also modeled them with confidence.

Sharing the video on Instagram, the NGO introduced their mission, saying, “We are a Lucknow-based NGO, working with over 400 slum children and providing free education. These dresses were designed by our students, all of whom come from slum areas. These kids, from extremely poor and vulnerable backgrounds, use their creativity to turn donated clothes from locals into beautiful designer-inspired dresses.” They added that the girls in the video are aged 12 to 17 and live in the Basti, while the video itself was shot by a 15-year-old aspiring filmmaker.

Sabyasachi himself took notice, and his reaction was priceless. Not only did he leave a heart emoji in the comments, but he reshared the video on his Instagram, giving these talented young creators a major boost.
