UPSC launches portal for exam registration

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has launched a new portal offering applicants the option to register using Aadhaar authentication.

In a statement, the Commission advised:

“Applicants are strongly encouraged to use their Aadhaar Card as an identity document while filling the Universal Application Form. This enables seamless and secure verification, creating a permanent and common record for all future examinations.”

Candidates must provide either their Aadhaar number or another valid photo ID during registration.

The official instructions further recommend:

“For faster confirmation, smooth verification, and easy access at examination centres, candidates are advised to use Aadhaar as their ID document.”
