The World Design Council's Paula Gazard offered assistance to the Karnataka government in order to advance design thinking in the state's institutions and schools. The final day of the Future Design Summit of the Bengaluru Design Festival was when she presented the letter of support to Minister for Higher Education C.N. Ashwath Narayan.
This, according to a press release, was in reaction to the Minister's declaration that Karnataka's government intended to encourage "design thinking" in colleges and schools during the festival's inaugural season.
“The WDC will extend the global design thinking curriculum and help schools and colleges set up design clubs in their institutions,” said Ms. Gazard.
