The Indian Institute of Finance (IIF) offers a one-year Basic Business Finance (BBF) programme through distance learning. This programme also aids applicants who plan to pursue an MBA in Finance at a foreign university but only have a three-year graduate degree. For admission to MBA programmes at most international universities, one must have completed 16 years of schooling.
The aim of this programme is to help potential financial managers become more competitive and productive managers. Candidates who live in remote areas and are unable to attend daily classes will benefit greatly from this programme.
Eligibility Criteria: Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in any discipline from an Indian or foreign accredited university. Candidates in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also qualified to apply.
The Basic Business Finance (BBF) selection procedure is based on the measurement of Grade Point Score (GPS). For all categories of applicants, the IIF calculates grades based on past academic records, other accomplishments, work experience, professional experience & achievements, and a personal interview. Even if their comparative GPS is relatively poor but above the minimum cut off point, IIF has a policy of admitting certain fresh graduates and female candidates. Admission is based solely on academic merit.
